The 3rd Conference on Fully Actuated System Theory and Applications (FASTA2024) is sponsored by Southern University of Science and Technology and Technical Committee on Fully Actuated System Theory and Application, CAA and organized by the School of System Design and Intelligent Manufacturing, Southern University of Science and Technology. FASTA2024 will be held in Shenzhen, China, from 11 to 13 July 2024. Its purpose is to provide an academic communication platform for scientists, engineers, and practitioners in related research fields from all over the world to show the latest developments in control theories and technical achievements. It provides a variety of opportunities for academic communication and sharing, such as keynotes, special sessions, oral presentation sessions, poster sessions.
Shenzhen, also known as Pengcheng, is China‘s first special economic zone, a window city of reform and opening up, one of the four first-tier cities, one of the central cities of the Greater Bay Area, and an important high-tech research and development and manufacturing base in southern China. It is located on the east bank of the Pearl River Estuary, facing Daya Bay and Dapeng Bay in the east, Lingdingyang in the west, bordering Hong Kong in the south, Huizhou and Dongguan in the north. The terrain is high in the southeast and low in the northwest, with mostly low hilly land and some gentle platform. It has a subtropical monsoon climate, which is warm, pleasant and rich in precipitation. Shenzhen is one of the national comprehensive reform pilot zones. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and The State Council support Shenzhen in building a pilot demonstration zone of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
